How this works
This page saves your progress using a browser feature called local storage. Most browsers allow this by default. If your browser or a privacy setting blocks it, this page will still work perfectly well as a plain checklist for the current visit; you will just need to re-check items if you close and reopen the file. Nothing about filling in the table below will ever cause an error, even if saving is blocked.
This progress tracker is a single file that lives on your own computer or device. When you check a box or type something in a field below, your answer is saved automatically, right in the web browser you are using, using a browser feature called local storage. You do not need to click a save button, create an account, or be connected to the internet after you have opened this file. Nothing you enter here is sent to anyone; it stays only on this device, inside this browser.
Because your progress is saved inside one specific browser on one specific device, it will not follow you automatically. If you open this same file in a different browser (for example, Chrome instead of Edge), on a different computer or phone, or after clearing that browser's saved site data, you will see a blank tracker again; your earlier checkmarks will not appear there, even though this is the same file. To avoid losing your progress, keep opening this file with the same browser on the same device each time. If you use more than one device, or you are ever worried about losing your saved progress, consider writing down your progress separately from time to time, such as in a personal notes file, as a backup.
The tracking table below has one row for each of the 24 weeks of this course, and seven columns. The first two columns, "Week" and "Topic," identify each week and its subject. The next four columns are checkboxes you check off as you complete each part of that week: "Lesson read" for the written lesson, "Exercises done" for the keyboard-only exercises, "Project done" for the portfolio project, and "Test passed, 75% or higher" for the 50-question weekly test. The last column, "Date completed," is an optional plain text field where you can type any note about when you finished the week, such as "March 3" or "week of the 10th." This field is not checked for a particular format; type it however makes sense to you.

Use the button below if you ever want to clear every checkbox and every date you have entered and start the tracker over from the beginning. This cannot be undone, so it asks you to confirm before it actually clears anything.
The tracking table
Check each box as you complete that part of a week. Your checkmarks and any date you type are saved automatically in this browser as you go.
